This morning I ate the oatmeal I cooked up last night, it was Steel Cut Oats, a banana, almond milk, cinnamon and vanilla extract, and a couple pieces of crumbled Organic dark chocolate- of course with a spoonful of natural PB.
For my lunch at work I made zucchini spaghetti last night, and then in a food processor for the sauce I added a tomato, half an avocado, basil, clove of garlic, onion and s/p, All the recipes I found for using my spiral slicer were raw recipes, so I didn’t heat this up, but it was yuck. haha….next time I will heat it up. I just couldn’t do the cold sauce. Oh and an apple.
After work I had a chocolate Larabar and some cashews, and green tea after walking my dog with mom. I also finally got some Agave nectar! And found some organic lollipops 🙂 Dinner was just leftover organic veggie pizza from last night, and I will have one of these rice krispy treats for desert (they’re made without marshmallows, using agave for sweetener instead).
Today wasn’t that great of a day food-wise. My bf’s mom dropped off McDonald’s in the morning for us, it was really nice that she remembered to get mine with no meat….I haven’t had McDonalds’s for so long. She got me an Egg and Cheese McMuffin with hashbrown/coffee, but I left the hashbrown.
Then I had an apple and an orange. At lunchtime I made a Tofurkey sandwich, with extra cucumber on the side. Later on I made a trip to a local coffee shop and got a Soy Cappuccino, yum, and then to Bulk Barn, and got some organic dried apricots, and organic gummy bears made without gelatin. Which I snacked on also. haha.
For dinner I baked an organic veggie pizza bought from Sobeys, they’re really good. We finished season 4 of Weeds! Omg! It was very suspenseful. I also had some Terra Vegetable chips which are delicious. I also used the Spirooli thingie for my lunch tomorrow. New kitchen gadgets are really exciting! Nerd, I know. Tail end of a hurricane tomorrow? Night.
Yesterday the spiral slicer I ordered online came! You can make vegetable spaghetti, and garnishes! I’m super excited. Breakfast was the last of the pumpkin oats and coffee. For my lunch I packed an Amy’s frozen dinner- Veggie loaf- so good, and an apple.
I went to the grocery store after work, and found NUTRITIONAL YEAST! I’ve seen it on so many blogs, and always assumed we never had it here, because I’ve never seen it. But I noticed it today! It was $10, which is weird I thought for yeast. haha. But it has B12 which apparently is something you get from meat, so that’s good. I had a coconut Larabar to hold me over ’till supper. It was awesome, first time trying that kind.
Dinner was leftover stirfry, with some of the veggie dumplings I got at the Asian Food Store. Dessert is a homemade brownie, and a small bowl of Terra Chips while watching some of season 4 of Weeds! Night!
Soooooooo for brekkie it was again pumpkin oatmeal. I packed a lunch of a wrap with tofurky, veganaise, lettuce and tomato on an Ezekial wrap,and a nectarine. The guys at work were having a meeting, so they ordered pizza, lots of pizza, and I ate my delicious lunch instead!! I guess it didn’t matter anyways because they get pizzas with TONS of meat.
After work me and my mom walked up to the Bulk Barn with my dog, and I picked up a few things. I found sooo many good things I wanted to get- like the Annie’s Goddess Dressing I’ve seen on other blogs. I got a small bag of organic dried apricots and they were really good, brown in color instead of orange. By the time I had supper cooked it was like 7:30. I chopped up veggies and made a Szechwan sauce, cut up some extra firm tofu,then boiled some of the brown rice vermicelli. It was a good stirfry. Really good, because I added PB to the sauce, and PB is good in everything. Annnnd pretty chopsticks! Some day the art of chop sticks will be mastered.
Dessert was a delicious brownie and some Purely Decadent pralines and cream. Mmmm. It’s Friday tomorrow yay 🙂
Yesterday I went to a local small Asian Food Store, and I was excited to find Veggie Dumplings! So I got them, brown rice Vermacelli and dumpling dipping sauce. I looked over the ingredients when I was there, but then I got home and looked at my dumplings and for some reason there was another ingredient list on the other side which said they have Monosodium Glutamate in em 😦 Booourns to added chemicals.
This morning I brought in the remaining cupcakes to work, and a couple of the men I work with ate them and really liked them! Little did they know…the tofu lurked within hahaha. For breakfast I had ANOTHER bowl of pumpkin oatmeal (I made a BIG pot last night and portioned it out), with a cup of coffee and blob of PB.
For lunch I packed leftovers from last night’s dinner, which was an impromptu Mexican Casserole with re-fried beans, soy crumbles, brown rice, etc, and an apple.
For dinner I cut up half a sweet potato and cut them into fries, tossed them with canola oil, and sprinkled cinnamon, cayenne, s&p, then baked; threw spinach in a bit of canola oil with garlic powder; and grilled an Amy’s vegetable burger and served it on an Ezekial bun with veganaise, a provolone slice, tomato, lettuce and ketchup. This meal was UNREAL- so good. While I was eating a bird flew into the window! It scared the hell out of me, but he was OK I guess because he flew away. When my grammy lived here they sometimes flew into the window and weren’t so lucky 😦

Yessssss I started my old job again today 😀 So breakfast was the only photogenic meal….the rest of the day was leftovers from yesterday… a waffle sandwich like many I’ve seen on other blogs, always delicious, with PB, banana, maple syrup on flax waffles. With the last of strawberries and coffee with almond milk. Oh and, at the mall I got a drink made from carrot, apple, ginger and garlic. It was potent as hell, I could only drink half. But I could feel the happy antioxidants working haha.
This morning when I woke up I wanted another Soy Cappuccino, and I had a BOGO coupon for a coffee shop called Beanz, so I headed there. I got one for myself, and a Mocaccino for my bf. It took reallllllllllllly long to get my order, so I just grabbed it and left. I brought it home to have with my oatmeal, and when I took the lid off it was really watered down and flat. No foamed soy milk like at the Farmers Market 😦 It was kinda icky. But my oatmeal was good.
For lunch I had some organic macaroni and cheese with Earth Balance spread and soy milk added. Later on I made some cupcakes! Vanilla cupcakes, and the icing I used was from ED&BV, and the first time I’ve ever seen Silken Tofu. Definitely weird haha. Some of em had raspberry jam in the middle. Amazing!

I brought half to my parents house for their dessert. Tonight was pizza night! I brought the spelt flour,and made a crust out of it, and topped it like a pizza I saw on Destiny’s Kitchen….it was a “Cheeseburger” theme.

It was friggin good! Except I didn’t oil the pan, so it stuck a little. I had a salad on the side which I didn’t photograph. Mmmm I just had a cupcake with a recorded episode of Gossip Girl, and then another! hehe so good couldn’t resist.
